Even though they STILL have not approved us, we got an okay to start our home study. They have been so busy - it hasn't been able to go through all the channels yet......I'm nerveous! It's been okay saying that it was going to be - but to actually schedual it is frightening!

You'll do just fine! I was scared and nervous about our home study as well, but it turned out to be pretty painless. Our social worker was very friendly and nice. She really helped put our minds at ease. Just remember, the purpose of a home study isn't just to evaluate you, it's also to help you learn more about the adoption process and what to expect. Think of it as "adoption education."
