More Babies
There are alot of ladies checking in with the agency.....I pray that God places the right cildren with the right parents and the mothers are at peace with their decision. The problem is, as far as our situation, most of the girls want a fully open adoption. I understand their point of view--i guess I would too. We are not %100 opposed to it but we also don't want to say yes to that right off the bat.....it would only work if it were the right match.....I can't believe people would agree to a fully open adoption without even knowing how everyone will get along.....
We are leaving it all in God's hands...........

PityPat - Hang in there. We just got our call today that we are going to be the proud parents of a baby boy! Check out our blog to keep posted. Four weeks till her due date! Keep the faith, and remember your child that God has chosen is out there.
le and Matt,
Congratulations!!! I can't get into your blog and I'm so hyped to read your story....let me know what to do!
The right child and situation is out there for you. And, when the right one comes along, you will know it.
Keep in mind that an open adoption can mean many things. Not all birth moms want a fully open relationship with visits and phone calls. Some just want to meet you. Others just want letters and pictures. Although it may seem scary, some openness in an adoption is a good thing. It will help you to better understand what birth parents go through and also give you some information that you can share with your child one day.
Hi! Just wanted to say we were hoping for a semi-open adoption, but did tell the SW that we'd consider open adoption (hoping for the kind that gotchababy has).
As it turned out, a woman who wanted a semi-open arrangement chose us. She had planned to meet with us, but never did. We've had not contact with her, but continue to send photos and letters to our agency for our file, in case she wants to ever look at them.
And it's funny - now I find myself wondering about her DAILY and wishing we had more contact!!!
You are right to let God handle it. He'll custom-make the perfect arrangement for you!
